1. Definition of Geogrid: A geogrid is crafted from polymers such as polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride, formed into a two-dimensional grid or a three-dimensional grid with specific height through thermoplastic or molding processes. It's essential for civil engineering applications, known as geogrid.
2. Plastic Geogrid: This is a polymer mesh, either square or rectangular, available in unidirectional or bidirectional stretches. Produced by punching an extruded polymer plate (commonly polypropylene or high-density polyethylene) and then stretching it directionally under heat, the unidirectional grid is stretched only lengthwise, while the bidirectional grid undergoes additional stretching perpendicular to its length.
3. Two-way Geogrid/Bidirectional Geogrid: Created through polymer extrusion, plate formation, and punching followed by longitudinal and transverse stretching, the bidirectional geogrid offers substantial tensile strength in both directions. Its innovative structure enhances force distribution in soil, making it ideal for large, permanent foundational applications.

With tensile strength over 150 Mpa, it is a versatile reinforcement material suited for diverse soil conditions.

Steel-Plastic Geogrid: Comprising high-strength steel wire (or other fibers) integrated with polyethylene (PE) and enriched with additives, this composite material undergoes extrusion to form a tensile belt with rough surface granules.
