1. Definition of Geogrid: Constructed from polymers like polypropylene or polyvinyl chloride, geogrids form a thermoplastic or molded two-dimensional grid or a three-dimensional grid with specific height. This robust structure serves a vital role in civil engineering applications.
2. Plastic Geogrid: This polymer mesh, available in square or rectangular forms, comes in unidirectional and bidirectional variants. Crafted by punching extruded polymer plates, typically polypropylene or high-density polyethylene, these grids undergo directional stretching under heat. The unidirectional grid is lengthwise stretched, while bidirectional grids are further stretched perpendicularly.

Two-Way Geogrid/Bidirectional Geogrid: Produced by extruding, plating, punching, and stretching polymers longitudinally and transversely, this geogrid offers significant tensile strength in both directions.
