1. Definition of geogrid: Crafted from polymers such as polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride, geogrids manifest as two-dimensional grids or three-dimensional grid screens. These marvels of engineering, when utilized in civil engineering applications, assume the identity of geogrids.
2. Plastic geogrid: This innovative material presents itself as a square or rectangular polymer mesh, expertly engineered through unidirectional or bidirectional stretching. Fashioned from an extruded polymer sheet, primarily polypropylene or high-density polyethylene, this grid is meticulously punched and then stretched under controlled heat. The unidirectional type elongates along the sheet's length, while the bidirectional type undergoes an additional perpendicular stretch.

Two-way geogrid/Bidirectional geogrid: With a remarkable design, the bidirectional geogrid is crafted through an intricate process of extrusion, plate formation, punching, followed by longitudinal and transverse stretching.
