1. Definition of geogrid: A geogrid is a two-dimensional grid or a three-dimensional grid screen, crafted from polymers like polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride through thermoplastic or molding processes. When deployed in civil engineering projects, this robust and versatile material is referred to as a geogrid.
2. Plastic geogrid is engineered as a square or rectangular polymer mesh, with types differentiated by directional stretching: unidirectional and bidirectional. Created by punching an extruded polymer plate—primarily polypropylene or high-density polyethylene—it undergoes directional stretching under heat. The unidirectional geogrid is stretched along the plate's length, while the bidirectional version extends the unidirectional grid transversely.
3. Two-way or bidirectional geogrid is crafted from polymers through extrusion, punching, and subsequent longitudinal and transverse stretching. This material offers significant tensile strength both longitudinally and transversely, providing enhanced load-bearing and dispersal capabilities within soil, making it ideal for extensive, permanently load-bearing foundations.

This process aligns the polymer into a linear structure, forming a robust elliptical mesh with uniform high-strength nodes. With exceptional tensile embedding and modulus, particularly at early elongation (2% -5%), our products offer superior tensile strength (> 150 Mpa), adaptability to various soils, and widespread use as reinforcement materials.
5. Steel-plastic geogrid is a high-strength reinforcement material, composed of high-strength steel wire (or other fibers) combined with polyethylene (PE) and other additives. Formed into a composite high-strength tensile belt with a rough surface texture, this innovative material is manufactured through specialized extrusion and reinforced bonding welding technology, creating a robust reinforced geogrid.
6. Glass fiber geogrid is a mesh structure material developed from glass fibers using specific weaving processes. To enhance glass fiber protection and overall performance, it's augmented into a geotechnical composite material through specialized coating and treatment processes. Its main components, including silicon oxide, impart exceptional stability, strength, high modulus, cold resistance, and minimal creep. This mesh's structure locks aggregates, enhancing the load-bearing capacity of asphalt mixtures, while its special asphalt-coated surface elevates wear resistance and shear capabilities.</sub>
