1. Definition of geogrid: A geogrid is a sophisticated engineering marvel crafted from polymers like polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride. Through thermoplastic or molding processes, these materials form a two-dimensional grid or a three-dimensional grid screen of specific height. When integrated into civil engineering, they are celebrated as geogrids.
2. Plastic geogrid is an innovative, polymer mesh available in square or rectangular configurations. These versatile structures come in two types: unidirectional and bidirectional stretching. Originating from an extruded polymer plate—primarily polypropylene or high-density polyethylene—they undergo directional stretching under heat.
