1. Definition of geogrid: Constructed from polymers like polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride, geogrids are crafted through thermoplastic or molding processes into two-dimensional grids or three-dimensional grid screens. Employed in civil engineering, they are recognized as geogrids.
2. Plastic geogrid: This polymer mesh, available in square or rectangular forms, is distinguished by its uni-directional and bi-directional stretching. Manufactured by punching an extruded polymer plate, typically polypropylene or high-density polyethylene, it undergoes directional stretching under heat. The unidirectional stretching grid extends only in the plate’s length, while the bidirectional grid stretches further at a perpendicular angle.
3. Two-way geogrid/Bidirectional geogrid: This robust material, created from polymer through an extrusion, plate, and punching process followed by longitudinal and transverse stretching, offers significant tensile strength both longitudinally and transversely. In the soil, it effectively distributes force and adapts to extensive areas of permanently bearing foundations.

<sub>4. The unidirectional geogrid is a marvel of polymer engineering, extruded into a thin sheet, perforated with regular holes, and longitudinally stretched. This process transforms the polymer into a linear state, forming an elliptical mesh with uniform distribution and high node strength. This structure boasts a high tensile embedding and tensile modulus, with our products excelling in early tensile strength (elongation 2%-5%) and tensile modulus. It delivers optimal force bearing and diffusion in soil, with tensile strength surpassing 150 Mpa, making it an ideal reinforcement material for diverse soil types.
5. Steel-plastic geogrid: A high-strength marvel constructed with steel wire (or alternative fibers), treated specially, and blended with polyethylene (PE) and other additives. This composite high-strength tensile belt features a rough compaction grain surface, functioning as a reinforced soil belt. From this single belt, prepared or arranged in a sandwich format vertically and horizontally, specialized reinforced bonding welding technology is applied to weld its junctions, creating a reinforced geogrid.
6. Glass fiber geogrid: Engineered with a mesh structure from glass fiber using a precise weaving process, this geotechnical composite material is crafted through special coating and treatment processes. Its main components, like silicon oxide and inorganic materials, impart high strength, high modulus, excellent cold resistance, and no long-term creep, coupled with good thermal stability. The mesh structure enhances aggregate lock and limits, boosting the bearing capacity of asphalt mixtures. The modified asphalt-coated surface significantly enhances its wear resistance and shear ability.</sub>
