1. Definition of geogrid: Geogrids are crafted from polymers such as polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride through thermoplastic or molding processes, forming either a two-dimensional grid or a three-dimensional grid screen with a specified height. In the realm of civil engineering, these structures are esteemed as geogrids.
2. Plastic geogrid: This square or rectangular polymer mesh is classified by its stretching direction into unidirectional or bidirectional types. The production process involves punching an extruded polymer plate, typically made from polypropylene or high-density polyethylene, followed by directional stretching under heat. Unidirectional geogrids are elongated lengthwise, while bidirectional geogrids are further stretched perpendicularly to the initial stretch.
3. Two-way geogrid/Bidirectional geogrid: This geogrid, crafted through extrusion, plate formation, and perforation, is subjected to both longitudinal and transverse stretching. Its exceptional tensile strength, both lengthwise and crosswise, enhances soil stability and load distribution, making it ideal for extensive, permanently loaded foundations.

4. The unidirectional geogrid is meticulously manufactured by extruding polymers into thin sheets, forming a regular hole net, followed by longitudinal stretching. This process aligns the polymer into a linear state, creating a long elliptical mesh with uniform distribution and robust node strength. Our products boast high initial tensile strength and modulus, providing optimal load-bearing and diffusion properties in soil, with a tensile strength exceeding 150 Mpa.
5. The steel-plastic geogrid is engineered from high-strength steel wire or fibers, treated specially, combined with polyethylene (PE), and infused with additives. This composite material is extruded into a high-strength tensile belt, featuring a textured surface for enhanced soil reinforcement. The belts are assembled in vertical and horizontal orientations, welded with advanced bonding technology to form superior reinforced geogrids.
6. Glass fiber geogrid: This sophisticated mesh structure is woven from glass fiber and undergoes special coating and compounding processes. Composed primarily of silicon oxide, this geotechnical composite material exhibits exceptional physical and chemical stability, high strength, and modulus, alongside outstanding cold resistance and thermal stability.
