1. Definition of Geogrid: Crafted from polymers like polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride, geogrids are either thermoplastic or molded into two-dimensional grids or three-dimensional grid screens. In civil engineering applications, these are revered as geogrids for their structural excellence.
2. Plastic Geogrid: This is a polymer mesh, available as square or rectangular grids, tailored by unidirectional or bidirectional stretching. Crafted by punching an extruded polymer plate, usually polypropylene or high-density polyethylene, and then subjected to directional stretching under heat. Unidirectional stretching occurs along the plate's length, whereas bidirectional stretching further elongates the grid perpendicular to its initial stretch.
3. Bidirectional Geogrid: Engineered from polymers through extrusion, plate formation, and punching, followed by both longitudinal and transverse stretching. This geogrid boasts significant tensile strength in both directions. This enhances its ability to bear and diffuse forces within soil, making it ideal for large, permanently bearing foundations.

<sub>4. Unidirectional Geogrid: Produced from polymers, extruded into thin sheets, perforated into regular mesh, and then longitudinally stretched. In this process, polymers align into a linear configuration, forming an elliptical mesh with uniform distribution and exceptional node strength. Our geogrids excel with high tensile strength and modulus, particularly at early elongations (2%-5%), distributing forces ideally within various soils. With tensile strength exceeding 150 MPa, it stands as a premier reinforcement material.
5. Steel-Plastic Geogrid: Created by embedding high-strength steel wire, or other fibers, into polyethylene (PE) through extrusion. Enhanced with additives, this process yields a composite high-strength tensile belt with a rough compacted surface. By arranging these belts in a specified grid format and employing specialized welding techniques, we produce a formidable reinforced geogrid for superior soil reinforcement.
6. Glass Fiber Geogrid: Constructed from glass fiber, woven into a mesh structure and enhanced through a unique coating and compound treatment. The primary components, like silicon oxide, provide stability, high strength, and modulus, with no long-term creep. The innovative mesh design locks aggregates, boosting the load-bearing capacity of asphalt mix. Coated with modified asphalt, it achieves exceptional wear and shear resistance.</sub>
